The idea for these melted snowmen came off of pinterest. The trickiest part was melting the marshmallows to the perfect consistency for the cookies. The icing is royal icing, and the cookies are a very soft shortbread. Everything was from scratch :)
Return of the baker!
I’ve been slacking off on posts since July 2012! How horrible of me. I did bake a bunch in the summer, but didn’t take photos of a lot of things. In September I moved to a new school to do my MSc, and unfortunately the kitchen doesn’t allow me to do any baking. So for now I only get the chance when I come home to visit. As much as it saddens me not to bake, it does make my grocery trips much cheaper! I’m going to upload whatever photos I can find from the past 6 months and then try to keep it up again from this point onward. Wish me luck!
